Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Execution Specialist job coordinates and implements moderately complex export trade execution activities for physical commodity trades across assigned regions, customers and trade flows. With limited supervision, this job supports export transportation processes, sales and purchase contract execution, documentation, business partner coordination, compliance checks, issue resolution and operational metrics in line with contractual terms and internal execution standards. This job supports timely, accurate and compliant execution while aligning commercial intent with customs and origin and destination regulatory requirements.

Key Responsabilities

  • ENTERPRISE RISK APPETITE & TOLERANCE: Conducts moderately complex risk assessments to identify documentation, contractual, operational and regulatory risks in export trade execution activities, aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
  • EXECUTION OF CONTRACTS & TRADE FLOWS: Implements end to end export transportation processes in compliance with defined contractual terms to minimize execution risks and supports trade flows aligned with product line and business group strategies.
  • TRADE DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT: Handles the end to end preparation, review, approval and maintenance of export documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with contractual, customs and origin and destination regulatory requirements throughout the execution lifecycle.
  • COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT: Reviews sales contracts to ensure clauses are fully understood and operationally executable and supports legal, fiscal and regulatory compliance for origin and destination requirements.
  • CUSTOMER & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Maintains established relationships with customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners, including supervisory companies, insurance companies, laboratories, agents, warehouses, trucking companies, buyers and sellers.
  • OPERATIONAL METRICS & CONTROLS: Reviews operational metrics, maintains accurate controls and delivers according to trade execution process expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Fluent English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Experience analyzing legal contracts
  • Experience managing and planning import and export processes, customs documentation, shipping, and receiving of foreign merchandise in a global matrixed company.
