This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
As a Senior Trade Execution Contract Desk Coordinator, you will be a professional in the supply chain sector of our business. Senior TE Coordinators are leaders amongst the TE Team and serve as a resource to other team members around various areas of contract technical expertise.
Responsibilities include managing commodity contract issuance for grains and/or oilseeds and/or product shipments for export, handling contract amendments, pricings, and monitoring open unshipped and unpriced contracts. This position will be responsible to collaborate with other functions, internal and external customers, Trade Execution teams and will strive for continuous improvement in our trade execution process.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Trade Execution Coordinators, Finance, Supply Chain & Commercial team(s) to ensure flawless execution of contracts. This includes proactively identifying and mitigating contract term risks, communicating or escalating issues with stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide technical contractual expertise and leadership to the team.
- Handling customer futures pricing orders, overfills and underfills and pricings prior to option month end.
- Maintain proper documentation for each contract.
- Lead various TE related projects and coordinate involvement of other TE coordinators.
- Analyze, provide feedback, and make recommendations about improvement opportunities.
- Participate in discussions with customers/suppliers/service providers and proactively protect Cargill's best interests.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma/certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in trade execution, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability dealing with detailed technical scenarios, difficult or new situations.
- Strong knowledge of documentation requirements for international import/export business.
- Strong technical knowledge of international payment terms, letters of credit, lnco terms, NAEGA, GAFTA, and shipping terms.
- Strong knowledge of grain commodities and contract pricing.
