Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Application Developer oversees the structure, storage, retrieval, and distribution of digital assets within the organization. They manage the DAM (Digital Asset Management) system, ensure efficient workflows, and provide training to users, all while maintaining the overall health of digital content such as images, videos, templates, and documents. The role also involves leading the overall strategy for the DAM system, including implementation, contract/vendor management, and process documentation.
Key Accountabilities
- System Management: Oversees and maintains the DAM system, including software updates, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Workflow and Process Management: Implements and optimizes workflows for asset management, including tagging, metadata, and version control.
- User Training and Onboarding: Provides training and support to users on how to utilize the DAM system effectively.
- Digital Asset Strategy: Develops, implements, and documents the overall strategy for managing digital assets, including content organization and access policies.
- Asset Management: Governs and advises on best practices for the organization, storage, retrieval, and distribution of digital assets across the organization.
- Metadata Management: Ensures the accurate and consistent use of metadata to facilitate efficient searching and retrieval of assets.
- Security and Access Control: Manages user access permissions to ensure the security and integrity of digital assets.
- Collaboration: Works with various departments, including brand, marketing, design, and content teams, to understand their needs and ensure seamless integration of the DAM system.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DAM platforms
- Experience with use and management of digital assets
- Project experience with migration/lifecycle projects
Compensation Data
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
The expected salary for this position is $95,000-$117,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
