Job Purpose and Impact
The Corporate Governance Specialist – Board Liaison will perform a variety of law related tasks under the general direction of the organization's legal professionals. In this role, you will coordinate and implement logistics for meetings of the Cargill Board of Directors, perform subsidiary management and recordkeeping tasks, assist in drafting legal documents and conducting basic legal research, and perform other related duties.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate and execute all logistical aspects of meetings of the Cargill Board of Directors, including director travel and lodging arrangements, coordinating on-site logistics for all meeting participants, management of meeting expenses, and related tasks.
- Apply detailed knowledge of department operations and infrastructure, policies and procedures to perform and optimize complex administrative processes.
- Use readily available data sources to conduct routine legal research.
- With regular supervision, develop and maintain files, databases and systems to collect, store and retrieve data on subsidiary management, entity filings, signing authority, etc.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience coordinating and executing all logistical aspects of board meetings or similar events.
- Demonstrated ability to partner across the organization to proactively manage complex logistics processes in a dynamic environment.
- Prior corporate governance, legal or related experience, particularly in a global organization.
