This position is in Cargill’s food business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The CPG eCommerce Sales Manager will focus on a few of the company's large and complex eCommerce customers within North America. In this role, you will handle critical and complex products that require excellent client relationship skills to maintain competitive positioning. This role is focused on driving performance for our consumer packaged goods portfolio, including well-known brands such as Truvia sweeteners and Diamond Crystal salt.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop a plan to establish and maintain account relationships at Amazon and other pure play eCommerce retailers and meet personal sales targets.
- Build a business plan for each account.
- Coordinate use of resource to provide value added services to accounts.
- Provide direction to eCommmerce Analyst
- Develop strong client relationships that provide significant input to planning product, price and service strategies.
- Support supervisor and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or market.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of four years of related work experience with Amazon
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expereince in the food industry
- Experience with consumer packaged goods
Position Information
- This is a remote position within United States.
- Up to 20% of travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.
- The expected salary for this position is $95,000 - $125,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
