Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate Marketing Manager - Pet & Backyard Poultry will lead the execution of brand building strategy to effectively represent our products and brands to customers and consumers. In this role, you will apply your full knowledge of retail consumer packaged good brand marketing to understand business needs, directly contribute to the achievement of objectives, translate marketing communications strategies into appropriate content and promotional materials for multiple channels, and partner with senior stakeholders to manage high impact projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute and lead large scale, multichannel brand marketing activities such as retailer promotions, consumer advertising, partnerships, paid and organic social media strategies, and event sponsorships, ensuring all materials and content are highly effective, on brand and in budget.
- Implement brand strategies and complex programs in collaboration with portfolio product managers, our customer marketing team and our Activation Specialist Team.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to lead multiple high impact campaigns for the assigned products, brands or species, developing high-impact brand-building ideas aligned to the marketing strategy. Campaign execution will range from concept development, to package design, to final product delivery.
- Apply full knowledge of brand-building tools to create graphic presentations that clearly communicate the product, solution, and or brand messages to meet business objectives.
- Apply knowledge to translate brand strategy into powerful copy, video, photography, and stories that drive 360-degree customer and consumer marketing plans.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating the most complex issues to appropriate team members.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in brand management, marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience consumer package good brand marketing or marketing strategy and planning.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in high-impact consumer communications
- Experience managing agency partners to drive effective consumer campaigns and strategic media plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years proven experience with brand strategy, content planning digital marketing and campaign delivery
- Experience in pet food marketing or animal feed marketing is a plus
- Proven success leading internal and external cross-functional teams in a brand-building environment

Applicant Information
The expected salary for this position is $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 . Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
