Job Purpose and Impact

  • The Collections Specialist with Turkish job assists with processing accounts receivable transactions and collecting on cash due to the organization, supporting the timely and accurate collection of funds while maintaining positive customer relationships. Under close supervision, this job optimizes cash flow and reduces delinquencies by working with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and collect outstanding payments.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supports the collections process, including monitoring and following up on overdue accounts, contacting customers for payment and resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Assists with the analysis of customer accounts to identify delinquencies, payment trends and potential credit risks.
  • Investigates and resolves routine disputes by analyzing relevant account data and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Helps negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Drafts timely and accurate reports on collections, accounts receivable and dispute resolution activities to distribute to cross functional teams.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with customers and cross functional teams to enable efficient collaboration.
  • Partners to find opportunities for process improvements and contributes to the development of innovative solutions to improve collections and dispute resolution efficiency.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, regulations, and best in class industry standards related to collections and dispute resolution, ensuring compliance and driving innovation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • No minimum years of relevant experience required. Typically reflects 2 years or more of experience in Finance or a similar field.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance.
