Job Purpose and Impact

The Director, Talent Acquisition leads a regional team responsible for the strategy, delivery, and continuous evolution of professional hiring for Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) roles across APAC. This role defines and executes a multi-year talent acquisition strategy aligned to business priorities and workforce plans, ensuring the organization attracts, selects, and hires high-quality talent in a scalable, cost-effective manner.  

This role partners closely with senior business leaders, HRBP’s and other HR partners across the region to shape workforce strategies, provide market-informed insights, and deliver hiring outcomes that enable business growth. The Director balances strategic vision with operational rigor, leveraging data, technology, and market intelligence to improve hiring speed, quality, diversity, candidate experience, and recruiter performance across the region. 

Key Accountabilities

  • STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION: Leads APAC talent acquisition strategy for MSC, aligning to business priorities and workforce needs while balancing speed, quality, diversity, and cost.
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP & CAPABILITY BUILDING: Builds and leads a high-performing, regionally distributed recruiting team, setting clear expectations, developing capabilities, and driving accountability, inclusion, and engagement.
  • GLOBAL HIRING DELIVERY & PERFORMANCE: Leads end-to-end professional hiring delivery across APAC, ensuring consistent execution, service level accountability, and strong hiring outcomes through performance tracking and course correction.
  • RECRUITING OPERATING MODEL & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Drives adoption of the recruiting operating model, tools, and processes across APAC, reinforcing standardization, productivity, and continuous improvement through data-driven decisions and change leadership.
  • TALENT PIPELINE & SOURCING STRATEGY: Defines and leads proactive sourcing and pipelining strategies to build strong, diverse talent pipelines that meet current and future hiring demand.
  • BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP & WORKFORCE ADVISORY: Acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders and HR, translating workforce needs into effective hiring strategies and influencing decisions with data and market insights.
  • EMPLOYER BRAND & CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE: Partners to enhance employer brand and deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience, improving attraction, engagement, and conversion outcomes.
  • DATA, METRICS & INSIGHTS: Leverages recruiting analytics and market intelligence to guide decisions, manage performance, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • VENDOR & CHANNEL PERFORMANCE PARTNERSHIP: Partners on vendor and channel strategy, monitoring performance and optimizing external solutions to drive value and continuous improvement.
  • COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT: Ensures recruiting practices meet legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, partnering across functions to mitigate risk and maintain consistent, compliant processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Confirmed experience leading talent acquisition strategy and delivery across multiple APAC regions, with demonstrated familiarity with diverse regional markets, talent landscapes, and hiring practices across APAC. 
  • Confirmed experience with recruiting technology, digital tools, analytics, and performance metrics. 
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience, including three years of supervisory experience. 
  • Professional-level English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across APAC and global teams.
