Title:  Supply & Inventory Planner

Job Purpose and Impact

The Inventory Planner I, will help plan, identify and evaluate the network distribution inventories through analysis of the inventory replenishment system. In this role, you will conduct inventory analysis and work on basic assignments to help implement policies, procedures and applicable regulations to monitor and ensure inventory security.

Key Accountabilities

• Generate and execute cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan entries.
• Handle network inventory in accordance with set inventory planning metrics targets.
• Provide inventory plans for assigned product or location into the planning process.
• Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Analysis of SMOG (Slow moving & Obsolete goods), co-ordination with sales team for disposal, month end inventory verification & year end stock count.
• Manage the flow of goods such as import shipments, coordinating transportation, forwarders, warehousing to ensure timely clearance of goods and receiving.
• Manage 3PL service PO creation for warehouse rent, CHA expenses and other charges.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Be fluent in English
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supply chain planning experience
• Experience on SAP is preferred for this position
