Job Purpose and Impact
The Global Procurement Category Management Specialist III will develop procurement strategies for value added ingredients to optimize cost, rationalize the supply base and bring value to the corporation while mitigating risk. We seek a professional who will maximize profitability for a category of ingredients by identifying strategic category opportunities, developing an overall category management framework and leading execution by the buyers located around the world.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage Capex Portfolio for designated regions, alignment on goals, budgets, priorities with both Regional PM&S Leader & Regional Stakeholders
• Lead to develop and deploy capex procurement strategy and plan, deliverables for full rigor capital project.
• Lead designated initiatives.
• Execute highly complex sourcing events.
• Compile and analyze statistical data to resolve feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives.
• Drive Governance and CI with capex processes, policies, strategy execution in region.
• Provide technical expertise in regional spend, stakeholder and procurement landscape.
• Negotiate with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to resolve factors that affect prices and the lowest cost, consistent with quality, reliability and ability to meet required schedules.
• Drive the implementation of cross regional sourcing decisions.
• Lead key regional supplier and stakeholder relationship building and maintenance and monitor performance to make necessary adjustments.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Coach buyers in delivering coherent and successful action plan.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of related solid experience leading at least one >100MM$ capital project end to end process as procurement lead.
• Very Strong Ownership and Leadership to ensure one-team culture.
• Very Strong interpersonal and influencing skill.
• Strong compression capability
• Excellent English communication skill
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.

• People management experience
PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES
• Provide inputs to the global category team for category strategy development and execution.
• Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of noncontracted materials, goods, services and supplies.
• Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions and provide support with the implementation of global sourcing decisions.
