Title:  Baker

Job Purpose and Impact

The Baker will collaborate with a team to execute the business plan to meet business goals. In this role, you will identify and execute new business development projects, lead, prioritize and report on the associated portfolios and drive process improvements using available supporting tools and metrics.

This role supports the commercial team by developing bakery application solutions, primarily in bread and some pastry products. The focus is on creating innovative concepts using the company's fats and oils portfolio for developing the retail and food retail customers.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop strong customer relationships at key accounts.
• Participate with sales and marketing leaders on customer segmentation and satisfaction, account planning and the use of salesforce.com.
• Support the application center, ensuring a safe working environment, food safety compliance, budget and resource management.
• Help execute applications development work, ensuring that all projects are appropriately staffed.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in  Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in bakery application/product development.
• Strong innovation mindset and customer-facing presentation skills.
• Experience in commercializing products from concept to production.
