Job Purpose and Impact

Location: Schiphol (Netherlands) / Mechelen (Belgium) preferred, but open to any Cargill location in Europe -hybrid/remote also supported (Final location is subject to compliance check & approval).

 

The Global Marketing Communications Director for Cargill Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) will oversee all marketing communication activities across the whole of ANH, providing direct support to both Livestock, Lifestyle and Aqua species.

 

In this role, you will lead, provide guidance to and coordinate the development and execution of multi-channel (including digital) marketing communications initiatives and campaigns to effectively represent Cargill brands, products, services and the Cargill organization to customers and prospects.

 

This role will also lead the development of our digital marketing and media presence with the aim of optimizing our spend and improving our presence effectively across channels worldwide. 

 

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate and lead with the Global Marketing Species Managers the execution of integrated global marketing campaigns including the production of various marketing assets for the business, ensuring all materials and content are on brand
• Lead development & drive implementation of a cohesive marketing communication plan within ANH so that resources are allocated adequately
• Lead the development and execution of the global digital marketing and media strategy for ANH
• Lead the design, development and implementation of marketing campaigns in line with the organization's priorities – including species, initiatives and regions
• Provide recommendations on the global media budget to maximize growth across various campaigns and channels
• Develop, provide guidance and maintain the visual identity elements (tone of voice, imagery, fonts) of the supported businesses across ANH ensuring that consistency and updates are maintained in the materials produced globally and used in the regions
• Provide leadership and guidance in the creation of graphic presentations that clearly communicate the product, solution or brand messages to meet enterprise objectives
• Develop and maintain the relationship with external suppliers and agencies including negotiation on the selection of business with external suppliers and agencies
• Lead the development and execution of the paid search, social media and display advertising strategies for ANH globally including overseeing performance on the digital channels and all aspects of digital marketing campaigns
• Maintain workload with between internal resources, external suppliers and agencies
• Control and optimize the non-working (marketing production) spend across global marketing
• Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business environment, while leading and empowering a team of Marketing professionals (6 direct reports) based globally

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field and or equivalent experience in place of a degree
•    Confirmed experience in Marketing planning and strategy as well as campaign management and execution in a Global setting – Across brands and different channels (including Digital Marketing and Social Media) in a B2B setting
•    Experience in managing remote and Global teams


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


•    Master's degree or Professional Marketing qualification 
•    Execute and lead large scale, multichannel marketing communications and promotional activities such as promotions, advertising, sponsorship, partnerships, social media, direct marketing and events, ensuring all materials and content are on brand
