This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The AgResource Territory Manager will strive to maximize sales and market share of Crop Protection Products and Seed through Independent Dealer Customers. We seek a results-oriented professional who will provide technical support, and business solutions to achieve the assigned goals within the North West Saskatchewan territory.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and measure the monthly performance of the objectives versus budget and implement actions to reach them.
- Improve the customer performance by providing in depth coaching and training.
- Collaborate with market development on activities including delivery of sales offers and presentations to channel partners and customers.
- Recognize, calculate return and investment and pursue new market segment and business development opportunities for customers.
- Build profitability through the execution of work plans by territory, constant prospecting, implementation of campaigns according to seasonality, service and product portfolio.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to work outside of business hours seasonally
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred University degree in Agriculture or Commerce
- Relevant knowledge – seed varieties, pesticides
- An active knowledge and use of formal professional selling skills
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft applications
- Ability to manage interpersonal relationships
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Able and willing to make decisions independently
