Job Purpose and Impact

  • The Manager I, Data & Analytics Reporting job leads the development and execution of data reporting strategies to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This job manages and mentors a team of data and analytics reporting professionals, providing guidance to ensure the quality and accessibility of data insights. This job partners closely with business leaders to understand their needs and handles report governance to ensure consistency, compliance and data integrity, and is accountable for communicating complex data insights to effectively deliver business outcomes while playing a key role in fostering a data driven culture and improving the value of data for business growth and innovation.

Key Accountabilities

  • STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP: Leads and develops the data and analytics reporting strategy to support business objectives, providing strategic insights, a future vision and plan and recommendations to senior management.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Establishes positive relationships with key partners to understand their data needs, provides insights, and ensures reporting solutions address key objectives and are effectively integrated into business processes.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Leads ongoing efforts to refine and improve data analysis and reporting practices and fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • DATA GOVERNANCE: Oversees reporting and analytics governance initiatives to ensure consistency, compliance, data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data reporting processes and outputs.
  • REPORTING & VISUALIZATION: Oversees the creation of comprehensive reports and dashboards, ensures data visualizations effectively communicate insights and are user friendly, timely and aligned with business needs.
  • BUDGET & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Handles the budget for the data analysis and reporting function, overseeing resource allocation to optimize efficiency and ensure the team meets its goals within financial constraints.
  • LITERACY: Develops and promotes initiatives to mature data consumption and analytics capabilities.
  • TECHNOLOGY & TOOL SELECTION: Evaluates, recommends and implements analytics and reporting tools to ensure the team has the most effective technology for data processing, visualization, and reporting.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organization's goals, by ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven and solid relevant work experience;
  • Fluent or advanced English level;
  • Graduation in Technology-related areas (Computer Science, engineering, etc.)
  • MBA will be a plus.
