Job Purpose and Impact
The Financial Operations Director / Diretor de Operações Financeiras will lead and supervise a team that conducts all aspects of trade and capital markets operations. This role ensures timely, accurate execution and compliance to the established internal and regulatory guidelines and procedures in relation to banking-related activities
Key Accountabilities
- Foster relationships with internal and external partners on a regional or geographic level;
- Oversee customer transactions, ensuring accurate system reflection and customer files are in order. Ensure high-quality, customer-focused execution across all products (including FX Transactions (Spot, ACCs, Export Pre-payments, EDFs, IDFs and Foreign Funding), Fixed Income Transactions (Fixed and Floating rates - CDI, CDB, Loans-long term and short term, LCAs, LCIs), Derivatives (B3 and Over the Count), Debt Capital Market Transactions), maintaining visibility on transaction status, prioritizing activities to meet settlement timelines, and ensuring complete, auditable records;
- Review and approve operational aspects of products and transaction settlements. Maintain a high level of internal control and assure regulatory and internal compliance;
- Continuously improve by streamlining or enhancing controls;
- Lead a team in ensuring professional handling of all transaction documentation and settlement. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility, and continuous learning;
- Drive process optimization and automation across transaction workflows, leveraging digital tools and cross-functional collaboration;
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment. Lead and develop a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions;
- Maintain a strong talent and succession pipeline supported by intentional development plans. Sustain a scalable model that supports agility and evolving business needs;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Solid and Proven related work experience
- Minimum 4 years of managerial experience with a proven ability to lead both junior and senior specialists and build resilient, high-performing teams.
- Fluent English level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with banking products (including export-related) for farmers and agricultural cooperatives is an advantage.
- Proven management experience in institutions regulated by Banco Central do Brasil, B3 – Clearing Houses, Febraban, Ambima, and CMN.
- Familiarity with SPB (Brazilian Payment System), SWIFT, Loans System (Sinquia or equivalent), Derivatives System (CRK or equivalent), FX System (Exchange or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of financial mathematics and internal controls (e.g., segregation of duties, conflict of interest, documentation standards).
- Expertise in COSO framework (Risk Environment, Risk Assessment, Control Activities, Information Security, Monitoring).
- Experience with regulatory bodies (e.g., BCB), audits, documentation review, and remediation planning.
- Strong working knowledge of FX and IR instruments; experience supporting or executing hedging strategies is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex documentation, assess risks, and design compliant operational processes.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience in process enforcement, team training, and alignment with standards.
- Decisiveness in dynamic environments and adaptability to regulatory changes.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to deliver compliant, effective solutions.
- Understanding of SFN segmentation and its impact on operational compliance.
- Demonstrated success in process optimization and automation using digital tools.
- Commitment to maintaining a robust control environment through proactive risk management.
