Job Purpose and Impact
TCM creates innovative financial solutions through trade finance tools for global banks and corporates as well as tailor made financial products to assist Cargill’s commercial partners, both suppliers and customers, in emerging and established markets. The business aids in mitigating the documentary, cross-border and credit risks associated with structured trade financing. It plays a key role in funding the global operations of Cargill through cross-border funding structures and the management of transferability and convertibility risks. It also leverages Cargill's international trade flows to create trade structures that provide funding to emerging market-based financial institutions and corporations. The Financial Markets Originator IV will develop the strategies and tactics to drive business origination for the assigned regions. In this role, you will take the lead to develop new business opportunities, build and foster relationships with banks and corporates to achieve growth objectives. You will develop in depth understanding of customer’s needs and provide strategic financial solutions that fit those needs. This role will be instrumental in driving the continued business growth for the TCM Origination team in Mexico.

Key Accountabilities
- Partner collaboratively with senior functional and trading stakeholders to develop new high risk customers in the assigned regions to grow the business to achieve revenue objectives and prospecting market and industry research.
- Apply broad and in depth understanding of all structures to develop strategic solutions to new and existing costumers.
- Develop in depth knowledge of the customer business strategy and explore and develop new industries related to trade in the assigned regions.
- Ensure expert understanding and compliance of the special operations group applicable to origination.
- Develop and structure highly complex financing origination proposals that represent maximum value optimization to the customer and business and address the customer’s key issues, needs and requirements.
- Develop and foster strategic partner relationships with senior internal management and external stakeholders.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Broad and in depth understanding of corporate and trade finance
- Expert knowledge of capital markets
- Minimum of six years of related work experience preferably in the banking sector
- Financial modeling, including a deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Risk analysis skills
- Investing experience, either debt or equity
- Commercial mindset and negotiation skills
- Fluent English is required
