Title:  Refrigeration Utility Technician III

Job Purpose and Impact

The Refrigeration Utility Technician III will perform complex industrial maintenance and troubleshooting on the industrial ammonia systems with in depth knowledge or understanding of multiple systems and applications under minimal guidance. In this role, you will complete ongoing and preventative maintenance of industrial ammonia systems to ensure the meet the environmental requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain all aspects of the facility's industrial ammonia system, including exposure to water treatment chemicals with little to no guidance.
• Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility while working in environmental, providing feedback to management for areas of improvement, with minimal authority to implement changes.
• Leverage various systems and applications, such as computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Process Safety Management, wastewater systems and operations and possess one or more refrigeration operations certifications.
• Record and document completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software, with little to no oversight.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts typically following standard production documentation.
• Participates in projects and pursue continuous improvement according to business strategy and supervisor.
• Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
