Title:  Generalist Process Operator III

Job Purpose and Impact

The Generalist Process Operator III will perform a variety of responsibilities throughout a production facility, including operating mechanical machinery and equipment, performing maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues and supporting others utilizing in-depth knowledge of established policies and procedures and occasional guidance. In this role, you will be assigned different work areas as needed to ensure production goals are met, support production of quality product and maximize throughput while following all safety and regulatory polices.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate equipment and technology tools throughout the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed and supporting others utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi-dimensional processes.
• Perform variety of responsibilities throughout the facility which may include loading and unloading bulk materials, packaging, terminal operations, mixing, monitoring computerized control systems and making complex machine processing adjustments.
• Support others in learning operating procedures, receives input from peers and provide feedback on clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation.
• Perform maintenance and trouble shoot complex machine and equipment issues broader in scope, making or instructing others on adjustments as necessary.
• Record production and inventory activities in computerized systems.
• Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e. forklift, skid loader, sit down floor sweeper, front end loader).
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areas.
