This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Dairy Focus Support will participate in face-to- face and remote selling, providing service and solutions to our new and existing customers. We seek a results-oriented professional who, with guidance, will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

Key Accountabilities

Contribute to developing and delivering service, presentations and proposals supporting our product sales.
Help communicate and collaborate with customers, building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
With basic knowledge of products, their characteristics and market, sell and stimulate demand for solutions in our portfolio.
Plan daily activities, including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
Follow market and competition evolution, with internal teams to support strategy and decision-making.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in dairy farming or agricultural crop production
Able to travel 75% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

Educational degree in Animal Science or Agricultural Science.
Basic computer skills and comfort with digital tools including; Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Experience using dairy-specific software such as Dairy Comp and TMR Tracker.
Able to operate and get licensed for drone flights.
Prior experience in dairy nutrition or farm management.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Experience working with cows and ability to build relationships with farmers and team members.

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

Location: USA Remote

The expected salary for this position is $52,000 - $76,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
