This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
Overall responsibility for the management, coordination and evaluation of the electrical engineering department, including instrumentation, control systems and safety.
Key Accountabilities
- Operation and maintenance of electrical systems:
- Medium-voltage switchgear 20 kV, including transformer system 20 kV/690 V/400 V
- Low-voltage switchgear 690 V/400 V
- Co-operation of CHP unit 4 MW, including transformer system 10 kV/20 kV
- Motor control center up to 500 kW, 400 V/690 V
- ATEX systems gas/dust
- Process automation systems and field instrumentation
- Auxiliary systems: emergency power, UPS, emergency lighting, lighting systems, radiation protection, lightning protection
- Communication and video systems
- Contact person for utility companies (electricity, gas, water) and authorities

Team management:

5 electricians in a 3-shift system (including support for plant operators)

1 coordinator Plant IT/Automation with flexible working hours

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed university degree, technical training, or master craftsman qualification in a relevant field
- Several years of professional experience in the aforementioned main tasks, including personnel management
- Good German and English skills for daily work
Preferred Qualifications
• Intermediate Project Management skills
• Prior experience in designing and building electrical systems such as power, lighting and signal
• Extensive experience with programming logic controller programming
• Experience with and understanding of manufacturing processes and methodologies
• Prior experience in SAP
