Title:  FSQR Intern

Job Purpose and Impact

FSQR Intern (Lab) is responsible to assist Lab Development Lead and Chemist on method development projects, laboratory optimization and modernization, and studies for both wet and instrument analysis. He/She will also assist to monitor and implement Cargill Good Lab Practice (GLP) requirement and to make sure all analysis, apparatus and procedures align with it.

Key Accountabilities

40% - Assist Lab Development Lead and Chemist on studies for both wet and instrument analysis.
30% - Assist Chemist on Cargill Good Lab Practice (GLP) requirement and to make sure all analysis, apparatus and procedure align with it.
10% - Involve in method development, lab optimization, and modernization projects.
10% - Participate in external and in-house training including, but not limited to, safety training, FSQR training, and on-job training.
10% - Maintain and improve laboratory cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science – Chemistry or in a related field.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience and knowledge in operating and maintaining lab instrument.
• Basic understanding of oils & fats analysis.
