JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

 

The Facility Inventory Coordinator is responsible for detailed accounting and accuracy of inventory for a single location. In this role, you will ensure compliance with established internal control procedures, accuracy of all data in business management software and aid in establishing inventory control concepts, best methods and procedures.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Provide day to day leadership of inventory movement, inventory accuracy, inventory management, aging reports and discrepancy investigation.
  • Accountable for control of raw materials required for production, ensuring inventory accuracy within SAP and accurate production reporting.
  • Ensure all production confirmations are completed accurately.
  • Facilitate actions with department teams to conduct routine cycle counts.
  • Ensure entry of inventory changes using business management software and other systems.
  • Conduct in depth research to reconcile inventory discrepancies in the business management software and physical inventory.
  • Assist with root cause analysis on inventory inaccuracies to determine reasons for variances.
  • Lead efforts for consistent audit preparedness.
  • Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

MINIMUM

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Understanding of inventory processes and flows
  • 1-2 years of SAP experience

 

PREFERRED

  • Experience with business management software modules used to track inventory
