Job Purpose and Impact

The Scheduler will manage production planning for our Kalmthout facility, optimizing production orders across various lines while considering equipment efficiencies and operational limitations. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with both the production department and the wider planning team to align priorities and develop robust, effective plans. You will also order the necessary liquid chocolates, ensuring that production schedules are aligned with delivery logistics. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in our end-to-end supply chain execution. Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and manage dynamic production schedules, coordinating all necessary changes to optimize efficiency. 
  • Order raw materials and align delivery schedules with the overall production plan. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the supply planning and production departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment. 
  • Assist in setting master production planning, material requirements planning and production scheduling metrics targets. 
  • Provide necessary input to supply planner for assigned product or location. 
  • Maintain data relevant to master production, production scheduling and material requirements planning activities including planning calendars, material data and location data. 
  • Coordinate various administrative tasks supporting the production team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Fluency in Dutch and English

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in supply chain planning or scheduling
