DOEL EN IMPACT VAN DE FUNCTIE

De Process Engineer fungeert als technisch kennisdrager van de site voor productieprocessen, productietechnologie en de interactie tussen product en proces. De functie verbetert processtabiliteit, procescapabiliteit en kostenprestaties en ondersteunt tegelijk de industrialisatie en opschaling van nieuwe producten en processen. Door data-analyse, gestructureerde probleemoplossing, trials en cross-functionele samenwerking zet de Process Engineer operationele en zakelijke kansen om in veilige, stabiele en schaalbare productieoplossingen. De functie heeft één primaire standplaats en biedt op verzoek of op basis van bedrijfsbehoeften process-engineeringexpertise en technische ondersteuning aan een tweede site in België.

BELANGRIJKSTE VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN

Samenwerken met Operations om aanbevelingen te ontwikkelen op basis van analyses van storingen en productieverlies, en oplossingen identificeren en implementeren om het systeem, standaardwerk en processen te verbeteren.
Toonaangevende operationele werkwijzen implementeren en auditen en de prestaties doelgericht verhogen door kernprestatie-indicatoren en procescapabiliteit te monitoren.
Lean Six Sigma, gestructureerde probleemoplossing en root cause analysis toepassen om continuous improvement- en best-practice-initiatieven te identificeren, prioriteren, implementeren en verifiëren.
Samenwerken met Maintenance rond procesgerelateerde reliability-activiteiten en production excellence- en continuous improvement-activiteiten implementeren.
Fungeren als technisch kennisdrager voor productieprocessen, productietechnologie en product/procesinteractie, met ondersteuning van procesontwikkeling, productindustrialisatie, opschaling en operationele gereedheid, en op verzoek of op basis van bedrijfsbehoeften technische expertise en ondersteuning bieden aan een tweede productiesite in België.
Nieuwe productontwikkeling implementeren, inclusief voorbereiding en uitvoering van trials, opschaling, procesvalidatie, operationele gereedheid en overdracht naar standaardproductie.
Samenwerken met cross-functionele stakeholders op site- en regionaal niveau, waaronder Operations, R&D, Quality en Commercial, om middelen te benutten, kennis over te dragen en meer waarde te realiseren binnen de portfolio van production excellence-projecten.
Zelfstandig complexe proces-, kwaliteits- en operationele problemen oplossen met technische troubleshooting en root cause analysis, en complexere problemen escaleren naar de juiste medewerkers.

KWALIFICATIES

Minimum Kwalificaties

Bachelor in chemische technologie, procestechnologie, levensmiddelentechnologie, food engineering of een aanverwant technisch vakgebied
Minimaal twee jaar relevante werkervaring
Andere minimumkwalificaties kunnen van toepassing zijn

Gewenste Kwalificaties

Kennis van het Frans is een voordeel
Ervaring met process engineering binnen voeding, chocolade, zoetwaren, verpakking of een andere continue of semi-continue productieomgeving
Kennis van product/procesinteractie, procesopschaling, industriële trials en technology transfer
Vaardigheden in Lean Six Sigma, gestructureerde probleemoplossing en root cause analysis
Ervaring met het analyseren van productiedata en het verbeteren van procescapabiliteit, opbrengst, afval, stilstand en variabele kosten
Ervaring met projectmanagement, waaronder cross-functionele verbeter- of industrialisatieprojecten
Ervaring met automatiserings- of productietechnologieverbeteringsprojecten
Kennis van voedselveiligheid, kwaliteit en management of change-principes
