Job Purpose and Impact

The Advisor, Energy Derivative Sales will develop and provide client coverage across North America. In this role, you will be responsible for originating and managing relationships with producers, financial institutions and financial sponsors across the energy supply chain.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement strategies focused on growing client base within the energy industry.
  • Implement processes to produce revenue on new customers and the existing portfolio.
  • Collaborate on complex accounts, products and services, sales or account management process.
  • Manage external relationships with customers, financial institutions and financial sponsors across the energy supply chain.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Product and fundamental understanding of energy commodity markets
  • Ability to independently lead diligence efforts, develop go-to-market plans and execute on strategic initiatives
