Principal Accountabilities
- Supervisor requests, conduct hands on training of machine operators within the Ground Beef Department
- Responding to and following up on reactive Maintenance calls in the plant
- Conducting preventative maintenance (PM) and follow up repairs from PM’s within the facility
- Conducting daily line assignments by receiving a PM and walking assigned lines within department assigned
- Performing other duties assigned including maintenance assistance as needed in the entire facility
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the united states without visa sponsorship
- Must be able to work in the US without an humanitarian Parole status related to Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua or Venezuela which is subject to the Federal Register Notice of revocation by DHS on March 25, 2025
- Must be 18 years or older
- At least one year of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment
- At least one year of experience using hand tools such as drill press, hand drill, wrenches, threading machines, etc
- At least two years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Industrial Electricity I, II, and III
- Certification in Motor Controls
- Experience troubleshooting with PLC’s.
- Working knowledge of fluid power, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Previous experience with Precision Maintenance
- Bi Lingual in English/Spanish
- One year of experience TIG Welding
- Building Trades (Drywall repair, spackling, Plumbing)
- Ammonia refrigeration experience
- Ammonia certifications
