Job Purpose and Impact
The Operations Training – 2nd shift, will implement the environmental health and safety training programs, utilizing corporate and local regulatory requirements. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new hires after hire and will take them through all Safety, Food Safety, and job-related training (computer-based and in-person training) needed to ensure New Hires are successful in their roles.
The Trainer will also help conduct follow-up meetings/ round-tables during the qualification process well as guide new employees after their qualification is complete.
Key Accountabilities
- Be a resource and mentor to new hires (and existing employees) during onboarding, qualification process (transfer process), and post probationary process.
- Handle environmental health and safety data management system to continuously improve employee awareness, track training completion rates and analyze safety indicators.
- Handle environmental, health and safety related records and reporting to ensure the system compliance with certification requirements.
- Contribute innovative ideas to promote environmental health and safety activity planning and collaborate to guide country or site teams on new corporate programs or procedures.
- Provide technical, regulatory and behavioral knowledge and consultation to build a strong environmental, health and safety culture.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in training.
Preferred Qualifications
- EHS experience or knowledge
- Bilingual (English – Spanish)
- Alchemy Training System experience
