This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Production Planner will coordinate production scheduling, follow-up maintenance progress, and implement appropriate emergency plan to ensure efficient production process. In this role you will align the production schedule with effective production practice. Secure correct products availability at time of loading. Be part of vessel capacity planning together with customer service- and logistics personnel.

Key Accountabilities

Collaborate with various partners to ensure effective production, including coordinating with production and maintenance, tracking production process indicators, and following up maintenance progress.
Take appropriate emergency action following the established emergency plan.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Advanced data analytical skills for use of Microsoft Excel, ERP system and general good IT competence
• Strong communication, problem-solving and good organizational skills
• Fluent in English and Norwegian language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience in logistics or production.
• Experience leading product production process and action plans.
• Experience using Plant Information System.
