Location: Clavet, SK
Job Type: Full-Time Temporary (14 months)
Pay Rate: $32.46/hr
Shift(s) Available: Rotating (Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00pm or from 2:00 pm to 10 pm)

Key Accountabilities
- Determine grade and dockage of samples.
- Operate all equipment associated with the elevator process, including drags, conveyors, scales, rail unload and truck dump.
- Ensure accurate information of scale weights and transactions are recorded daily.
- Process samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values in Uniwin and collect samples..
- Work outdoors in a dusty environment.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by facility; determine immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair work.
- Troubleshoot minor problems as required, perform minor maintenance, and enter work orders in SAP.
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping general activities according with the sanitation program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating 8 hr shifts, including nights, overtime, weekends, holidays, and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover vacancies or plant demands.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor, dusty environment.
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have basic computer skills including being able to enter and retrieve data.
- Must be able to learn computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Basic mechanical aptitude
