Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Sales Manager within the Diamond-V ruminant business will, with guidance, sell directly to the business purchasers or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will conduct face to face and remote sales with new and existing customers, assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions.

Key Accountabilities

Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.
Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
Protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Responsible for achieving sales goals and maintaining expense budget.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of one year of sales or related work experience.
Ability to travel up to 75% and overnight travel up to 30% per month.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of five years selling in dairy industry or ruminant nutrition sales.
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, etc).
Bilingual English – Spanish.
