This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Customer Service Representative (Part time), will support a moderate scale of customer service activities for a single site team. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing and monitoring shipping and returns, including processing complex orders from customers and resolving order or delivery issues.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management.
- Complete bank deposits and reconcile/close credit card batches.
- Provide customer assistance in person, by phone, and through messaging platforms, while supporting sales representatives with invoicing, documentation, and payment processing.
- Post customer payments, manage financing disbursements, process interest charges, and generate monthly account statements.
- Execute customer service strategies.
- Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Learn to operate small equipment
- Available to work 20 hours per week
- Legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
