This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply Chain Associate Director will lead and provide direction to direct and indirect staff, overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain activities across a regional or multi country operation. In this role, you will design, propose and implement supply chain and logistics strategies, guidelines and processes to meet requirements supporting short- and longterm business needs. In this role, you will be a strong business partner in cross-collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, HR, Farmers, Customers, Service providers).
The place of work can be our HQ in Warsaw (PL) or Budapest (HU).
Key Accountabilities
- Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and performance dialogue
- Enforce a culture of cost reduction, of project developments, of analytical and root cause analysis process
- Deploy with your team strong processes and tools across the end-to-end Supply Chain flow for performance enablement
- Lead and contribute to a regional or multicountry team to construct supply network and distribution planning for short and tactical horizon via IBP and S&OE governance.
- Oversee and provide general leadership and integration of multiple areas in the Cargill supply chain, such as customer service, supply chain planning, quality, plant operations and logistics.
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors.
- Coaching and making decisions related to talent management, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 6 years of related work experience in operational and/or supply chain functions
- Fluent in English, fluent in the local country language
- High communication skills
- Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience

- Experience in process development and performance enablement
- Ability to work proactively with high autonomy
