Title: Maintenance Electrician III

Job Purpose and Impact
This is a Temporary position located in 117 Eeg Boulevard, Kralendijk, Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands. Please note that Cargill does not provide relocation assistance to the work location.
The Maintenance Electrician III will perform maintenance and troubleshoot complex electrical issues on plant or production reequipment using in-depth knowledge and under occasional guidance and may provide support to others. In this role, you will ensure all electrical assets are maintained in a safe condition while completing preventative maintenance plans.
Key Accountabilities
- Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial electrical work throughout the facility while operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools.
- Create, install and troubleshoot wiring system layouts and circuit routing.
- Interpret and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals.
- Document completed work and conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software.
- Interact regularly with external vendors, peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a collaboration focused environment.
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts and aerial lifts as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Senior Technical School (MTS) Electrical or equivalent with >5 years work experience in household, commercial and industrial works
• Successful completion of accredited trade school or 5 years practical experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Journeyman level knowledge and experience in install/maintain of heavy industrial equipment including 480 volts, VFD’s, low voltage switchgears, motors, starters control circuits, data networks and PLCs
• Ability to read and write electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams. Passing an electrical aptitude test and field test is part of the requirement.
• Perform instrumentation calculation, set up of parameters and limits.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment
• Knowledgeable of and compliant with NFP 70E, NEN 1010, NEN 3140
• Experience working with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications and the mathematical Knowledge required for such work
• Have adequate transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, different shifts or hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover vacancies with advance notice
• Ability to perform service calls for emergency breakdowns during working hours and to be on call (weekends).
• Computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve data
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office and Maximo software
• Perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 60 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, ascend and descend stairs, twisting.
• Ability to work in confined and tight spaces and in elevated areas with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in an outdoor and dusty environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills: English, Papiamentu, Dutch, Spanish
Preferred Qualificaions
• Journeyman certification as an Electrician
• Thermo-graphics level 1 and Ultrasound skills
• Experience with rigging systems using chain falls, beam clamps, slings, etc.
• Experience in a reliability program.
• Knowledgeable of performing RCA’s.
• Experience using complex test equipment to perform analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience installing coaxial, data or fiber optic cable for computers and other telecommunications
• Experience working in a production or plant environment
