Job Purpose and Impact
With the primary responsibility in growing Cargill Bioindustrial dielectric fluid & cooling solution businesses across the key market segments in China & greater China, you will be responsible for developing our go to market approach and business planning for our ester dielectric fluid & cooling solution.
This is a self-driven role that aims to push the business forward through your technical insights and engagement with key customers.
Through effective relationship management, you will build and maintain executive-level relationships with our utility customers, commercial & industries developer, equipment OEM’s, distributors & other relevant customer group.
With the ability to generate customer focused solution, you will deliver innovative sales and marketing activities
to increase sales, to develop our value proposition, to differentiate from other ester manufacturers and to be the technical specialist for our customers and events across China & greater China.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop the strategy to increase commercial sales across China & greater China
• Create strong relationships with current and prospective customers
• Initiate tactics to accelerate the adoptions of Cargill’s dielectric fluid & cooling solution
• Provide engineering expertise and support to our customers
• Create and manage the partner network, establish the performance criteria and manage the partner result.
• Utilise the understanding of the China’s fluid market to identify competitive offerings
• Participate in group and team cadences to ensure communication, co-ordination and alignment of event and strategy
• Ensure sales process is followed (order book status, customer meeting report, opportunity funnel, event, partner performance and other key metrics)
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the manager
Qualifications
• Degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical) Candidate with a MBA is strongly preferred.
• Experience within sales, business and relationship management
• Proven ability in sales development and customer focused solutions including new market development, customer-backed value added solution selling and key account management.
• Experience in the electric utility, renewables, commercial & industries end-user and understanding of electrical supply chain/sales channel in China & greater China
• Experience and knowledge in technical and commercial aspect of dielectric fluid & cooling solution.
• Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin & English language is strongly preferred
• Self driven, team player, capable of working independently & remotely and ability to travel locally (at least 50% of time)
