Project Purpose and Impact

We are hiring a dynamic, creative Intern to support packaging harmonization, artwork governance, packaging material qualification, and sustainability / cost-optimization projects through a structured 6-month assignment for our Animal Health and Nutrition business in South Asia. The role will focus on defined project deliverables across Dairy Feed, Dairy Health, Poultry Health, Premixes, and Feed Additives while working closely with Strategic Marketing, Product Development, Quality & FSQR, Manufacturing, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, agencies, printers, and packaging suppliers.

 

Project Scope & Responsibilities

1. Packaging Design & Development Execution

    • Develop / support packaging format benchmarking for assigned SKUs, launches, portfolio upgrades, and harmonization opportunities.
    • Prepare and maintain packaging specifications, KLD, packaging change records, and project trackers.
    • Coordinate packaging trials, sample evaluations, transport / storage observations, and validation of documentation for assigned projects

 

2. Artwork & Label Management

    • Coordinate with design agencies, printers, and internal stakeholders to close artwork revisions, proof checks, and approval of workflows.
    • Develop artwork repository, version-control tracker, approval history, and change-control documentation.

 

3. Sustainability & Cost Optimization

    • Identify recyclable, optimized, cost-effective, and operationally feasible packaging options for selected product families.
    • Support material reduction, specification optimization, and sustainability data-collection initiatives with a clear business recommendation.

The internship requires Cross-Functional coordination that includes Strategic Marketing, Product Development, Quality & FSQR, Manufacturing, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, agencies, printers. Follow up on samples, proofs, specifications, quotations, timelines, deviations, and corrective actions for assigned packaging projects

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters/Post graduate degree in Engineering or Technology with majors in Packaging Technology, Printing & Packaging Technology, Polymer / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; 
  • Graduates of 2026 or 2027 only. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PG Diploma in Packaging preferred.
  • Exposure in handling flexible packaging, bags, pouches, labels, cartons, jars, bottles, shippers, or secondary packaging will be valuable.
  • Insight to animal nutrition / animal health, FMCG, food & beverage, pharma, agrochemicals, or nutraceutical packaging will be a plus
