Job Purpose and Impact
The Executive Technical Support Specialist is a high-impact role responsible for delivering white-glove, end-to-end technical support to senior executives ( including but not limited to the CEO) and high-profile stakeholders. This position ensures seamless technology experiences by proactively managing devices, applications, and collaboration tools, while swiftly resolving technical issues with discretion and urgency.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication and customer service skills. They act as a trusted advisor, anticipating executive needs, coordinating with cross-functional IT teams, and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Accountabilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across software, hardware, and network systems.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical incidents affecting executive-level users or enterprise systems.
- Provide white-glove technical support to C-suite executives and senior leadership, ensuring minimal downtime and high satisfaction.
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively manage their technical environments.
- Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management on executive devices and systems.
- Work closely with development and product teams to communicate user feedback and technical issues.
- Participate in testing and validation of new features or updates before deployment to executive users.
- Ensure executive systems comply with organizational security policies and industry regulations.
- Implement and maintain endpoint protection, encryption, and secure access protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Cisco CCNA.
· 5+ years of experience in technical support or IT engineering roles, with at least 2 years supporting executive or VIP users.
· Proven experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level systems and devices (Windows, macOS, mobile platforms, etc. ).
