This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Business Support Associate will partner collaboratively with all production facility teammates as well as contract haulers, safety, quality and regulatory personnel, customer account coordinators, production planners and sales consultants on customer concerns, issues and complaints. In this role, you will work with shipping companies who pick up or deliver our products and you will have an understanding how to invoice and place orders.
Key Accountabilities
- Reconcile validation of orders received, logistics coordination, credit processing and invoicing.
- Develop and maintain usage reports, spreadsheets and inventory control programs.
- Perform moderately complex administrative duties related to ensuring customer expectations are met from production through order fulfillment.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to cross functional product line teams in follow up, investigation and documentation of moderately complex internal and external nonconformances, root causes and corrective actions.
- Support the commercial link between customer service, finance and transportation and logistics.
- Complete and manage confidential employee information.
- Utilize a basic understanding of supply chain practices and procedures to develop a strong understanding of customer needs through assisting in the maintenance of internal and external relationships to provide optimal service to company suppliers.
- Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related fields
- Experience with email, spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Up to 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
- Business knowledge as pertains to business management software
- SAP knowledge and experience
- Reporting and analysis experience
- Supply chain, customer service or planning experience
